—  Dining In  —

The restaurant comprises of 3 key areas, internally named, the Waiting Room, Dining Room, and Conservatory. Each area of former pub has undergone extensive refurbishment works to help complement the now Indian cuisine offered.

The Waiting Room welcomes and holds all visitors into a large open space with ample seating options before being taken into the dining area or collecting a take away meal. A large timber clad background feature wall offers an opportunity to take a picture to record and share your visit. This area also provides direct access into the newly refurbished and rearranged toilets - increased circulation space, accessible WCs, and modern sanitaryware can be found. Currently, this waiting area is trialling a bar/drinks only service to complement the dining and take away services already on offer, subject to demand.

The main dining area gives further access to the refurnished bar, 4 large round tables, and an open fireplace space. A large area with deliberately few tables, aimed to create an incredibly relaxed environment inviting customers to dine until late and seamlessly transition from table to fireplace.

Accessed from the dining room, the conservatory houses the remaining 8 tables and is surrounded in glazing. The windows have been specially treated to transition from heavy tinting to clear, offering both protection during bright sunny evenings, to clear unobstructed views of the sunset and into the night. The high sloped ceiling offers increased views of the historic original stone clad random coursed wall once used as the frontage and entrance into the pub.

Generally, visitors will immediately appreciate the finishes and materials used throughout the restaurant. Floors have been resurfaced with large rustic Indian tiles, walls reclad and dressed in natural vertical timber and Indian fabrics, lighting increased and rearranged with added colour, and new furnishings introduced with textiles amongst many other changes - a dining in area architected to match the exquisite dishes on offer!
